Me too!

Lately I’ve been trying to find some shorts or something for me to wear for this family reunion coming up instead of my workout type clothes I’ve been wearing pretty much every day for over a year now.  Pretty sad, but what else am I suppose to do when I’m hardly the size I was when I got married!
Anyway, so tonight Hunter, Hayden and I went to Target.  I didn’t find much there, but just a few good possibilities and headed for the dressing room.  The cart was parked up against a bench in there and Hunter managed to climb out because all of the sudden I see him next to me taking off his shoes and trying to pull off his shorts just like Mommy!  It was so funny!  I smiled and said, "Do you want to try on some clothes too?"  He’d pull off the shorts from the hangers and try to put them on, but they’re SOO much bigger than he is– and like 5 sizes bigger than the cute capris I used to wear all the time.  I’ve got a LOT of work to do before I ever fit into those again.
After I was done with that we headed over to the shoes for a minute.  I found some that are almost what I’m looking for, but not quite.  I see Hunter taking his shoes off and putting on these high heels and start walking up and down the aisle.  He did pretty well and looked so funny!  He loves putting on other people’s shoes- even if they are clearly women’s.  I had to chase him around a little bit to get him to take them off, put them back and get his own shoes on.  He wasn’t interested in trying on any shoes his size/style, unfortunately.
So we had a fun time trying on stuff, but he started losing it once it was time to go.  Uh oh, must be bedtime.  So we hurried home and started getting ready for bed.  He loves songs at bedtime.  His favorites are "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star," "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," "The Itsy Bitsy Spider," and now recently "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam."  With the Sunbeam song, I try to sing it all evenly, no emphasis on the "beam" part, as you all can remember how it goes when it’s sung in Primary, but tonight all on his own he jumps up and says, "Beam!"  How funny that that song just naturally makes you want to do that.  How cute.  Harris adds a line to "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" when he sings it–"Then along comes Mommy and smashes the spider down.  And the Itsy Bitsy Spider is never again found."  Yeah!
Well, as far as anything else goes, Henry and Harris are home now.  Just got back earlier today and Henry especially is needing a haircut!  Hunter seems to enjoy that they’re back and he has someone else to try and entertain him for a change.
Harris has his ankle surgery tomorrow and is a little nervous, but we’re all praying it goes well and he recovers quickly.  I just hope this family reunion will still be fun for him.  I love him!  🙂  Anyway, that’s all for now, I guess, gotta get to bed!!
